So I did my first party this morning and delivered 20 Mario cupcakes. There were 5 Marios, 5 Luigis, 5 Toadstools and 5 stars. I have to say they were definitely a hit and a lot of fun! It was a late night last night staying up till 2 in the morning and making them, but it was completely worth it. I woke up at 7:30 this morning to make sure all the cupcakes were still there and in perfect condition. I think I even dreamed about cupcakes. It's so hard now a days to turn my mind completely off of cupcakes because it seem like every minute I think of another idea I want to try. Anyway, we put the cupcakes in cake boxes and delivered them to the party at 9:00am at Chuck E Cheese's.
Making/decorating cupcakes has been so much fun for me, and I would have never thought I would be able to do something like this. It definitely goes to show that if you don't try it then you'll never know if you can do it.
These cupcakes took a lot of time, and without a lot of patience and an amazing husband who helped I couldn't have gotten all these done :)
Super cute! You can most def. tell you put your heart into those cupcakes :) Did you get a chance to make box labels? Also, next time you buy boxes from Hobby Lobby - check their website for a 40% off coupon! I think they print one off every other week. Michaels, too! Then you can just stock up on boxes ;) - Andrea
